Charming Everyday Things Project

From Friday, January 20 to Wednesday January 25, 2012, a refurbished former 19th century ironmonger’s warehouse in Paris is transformed into the boutique 365 jours (365 days). The 365 Charming Everyday Things project aims to introduce the variety and quality of local Japanese arts and crafts. Most of these items are intimately familiar to Japanese, but usually new to the rest of the world. The boutique will also serve as a communication platform for deployment to France and Europe of the 149 enterprises and brands associated with the event.
The warehouse consists of a wide space on three levels, bathed in natural light with the scent of polished wood. Perfect for an exhibition consisting of these honest everyday products. Later in the year, the exhibition will also travel around Japan. One of the places to show the 365 Charming Everyday Things project is the Pola Museum Annex (March 21~25, 2012). Come and discover a year’s worth of Japanese charm. Encounter objects that embody Japanese practicality, know-how, discriminating taste and wit.
